Oil Price Hike Expected on Tuesday (January 13, 2026)
FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Several gasoline stations in the country are set to impose an oil price hike starting this week.
Motorists should get ready for higher fuel costs starting Tuesday, January 13, as several oil companies announced another round of pump price increases. Diesel and kerosene are set to rise for the third consecutive week, while gasoline also sees an upward adjustment.
Fuel retailers confirmed the following price changes:
- Gasoline: +P0.30 per liter
- Diesel: +P0.20 per liter
- Kerosene: +P0.30 per liter
Most companies, including Shell Pilipinas, Seaoil Philippines, and Petro Gazz, will implement the new prices at 6 a.m. Cleanfuel, however, will apply the increase later in the day at 4:01 p.m. Some other fuel providers have not yet released their updates, so more changes may follow.
Last week saw mixed movements, with gasoline and kerosene slightly dropping by P0.10 per liter and diesel rising by P0.20 per liter. This week, all three major products are increasing, affecting drivers, commuters, and small businesses that rely on fuel for daily operations.
Although the Department of Energy had previously projected possible rollbacks due to sufficient global oil supply and weak demand, recent global developments and market shifts have pushed prices upward.
