Pres. Bongbong Marcos Present at Aid Distribution in Manila
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President lifted a bag containing 10 kilos of rice amid the rumors that he’s allegedly dealing with a health problem.
Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s health is the center of speculations and rumors since January after he was diagnosed with diverticulitis. The said medical condition is reportedly characterized by the inflammation of the small pouches in the colon.

Marcos Jr. linked the health condition to aging and stress. Meanwhile, he immediately assured the public then that he was recovering and he has a team of excellent doctors taking care of him.
However, the said overnight medical observation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos and his diverticulitis diagnosis which he revealed to the public himself has triggered the start of the speculations and rumors towards his health condition. He is even rumored to be allegedly battling colon cancer.

Recently, Marcos Jr. said that he’s struggle is actually when it comes to eating as he does not want to get fat again. The remarks of the President came amid the speculations on his supposed weight loss.
According to Malacañang, the President is not into too much eating eating. Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro claimed that Marcos Jr. is avoiding the pain he felt because of diverticulitis, thus, he is limiting his food intake.

“‘Wag niyo masyadong siniseryoso, alam niyo naman ang social media, palabiro ‘yan. Wala po tayong problema. I am back to my regular routine… wala nang bawal,” Marcos Jr. previously said.
Amid the speculations about his health, Pres. Bongbong Marcos recently had several playful moments that seemed to be done in relation to the rumors. After doing some jumping jacks and jogging, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the President recently lifted a 10-kilo bag of rice above his head.

“Sinong may sakit?” Marcos Jr. asked the crowd before he lifted the bag of rice at an aid distribution event in Manila.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was also present at the event and was spotted with a wide a smile as Pres. Bongbong Marcos lifted the 10-kilo bag of rice. Based on the report, Vice Mayor Chi Atienza was also present at the event wherein aid was given to selected beneficiaries amid the soaring oil costs in the Philippines.
Previously, presidential sister and Senator Imee Marcos claimed that her brother is allegedly sick. Aside from Pres. Bongbong Marcos doing certain things to prove he’s healthy, the Palace also reacted to the claim of Senator Imee.
