MANILA — Philippine annual inflation was likely to have been within a 5.6% to 6.4% range over April, the central bank said on Thursday.
The forecast compares with the 4.1% reading in March.
“We will continue to monitor recent developments in the Middle East for their implications on inflation and economic activity,” the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said in a statement.
