The elderly woman from Tigaon touched the hearts of many after expressing her gratitude for receiving a P100,000 cash incentive from the provincial government during her birthday celebration.
Concepcion Valencia received the financial assistance under the centenarian incentive program of the provincial government of Camarines Sur. The cash assistance was personally delivered to her home in Barangay San Francisco as part of the province’s continuing support for senior citizens who reach remarkable ages.

The program is being carried out under the leadership of LRay Villafuerte, who aims to recognize and support elderly residents in the province. Family members of Lola Concepcion shared that the financial assistance would greatly help with her medicines, food, and other daily needs.
According to her daughter, Josefina Colasito, the incentive came at the perfect time because caring for an elderly family member also comes with many expenses. She explained that the family truly appreciated the support given by the local government.
