MANILA — The Philippines’ gross foreign reserves PHFXR=ECI rose to $104.8 billion at the end of August from $103.3 billion at the end of July, the central bank said on Monday, citing preliminary data.
The reserves can provide an external liquidity buffer equivalent to 6.8 months’ worth of imports of goods and payments of services and primary income, it said in a statement
