Motorcycle-Riding Pair Caught on CCTV Stealing Bottled Fuel From Roadside Store
A motorcycle-riding pair was caught on CCTV allegedly stealing bottled fuel being sold outside of a roadside store in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.
A CCTV footage captures a motorcycle carrying a male rider and a female passenger stopping in front of a store that sells gasoline in small quantities stored in bottles. The incident happened in Barangay Malacanang and was captured by a security camera.
At first, the store owner thought the pair had stopped buying fuel. However, after only a few moments, the female passenger quickly grabbed two bottles of gasoline from the display. The motorcycle then sped away before anyone could stop them.

According to the store owner, the incident happened after another customer purchased fuel. Because of that transaction, the container holding the bottled gasoline had not yet been secured by the owner’s child.
The family immediately realized what had happened and tried to react. One of the owner’s daughters reportedly shouted at the suspects, while another rushed outside to catch them. Unfortunately, the motorcycle had already moved too quickly and escaped the area.
The theft was later reported to local authorities, who have begun looking into the incident. Initial information suggests that the suspects may not be residents of the community and could have come from another area.
Barangay officials also reminded local business owners and residents to remain vigilant, especially when displaying products outside their stores. They encouraged shop owners to keep a close watch on their merchandise and improve security measures whenever possible.
Rising fuel prices have already led to reports of so-called “gas-and-run” cases, where motorists fill up at gasoline stations and leave without paying.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and are hoping the CCTV footage will help identify and locate the suspects.
