A woman mistakenly entered a lodging house room in Butuan City and accidentally had an intimate encounter with a room boy.
According to reports, the man, identified as Albert Caerlang of Alegria, Surigao del Norte, was resting in a room near where a female guest and her boyfriend had checked in. Investigators said the woman reportedly intended to use a bathroom but mistakenly entered a different room.
The suspect was surprised when the woman entered and found herself beside him. He claimed that he did not know the woman and that the situation quickly developed into an intimate encounter.
The suspect told authorities that the woman allegedly kissed him and that he became carried away by the situation. However, the woman later reported the incident to the management of the lodging house after discovering that the man she had been with was not her boyfriend.
The complaint eventually led to a police investigation. Authorities emphasized that the case is now under legal review and that the allegations will be examined through the proper process.
Caerlang surrendered to the police and was brought to the Butuan City Police Office. He is now facing a rape case filed by the woman involved in the incident.
