Transition bonds remain a small part of Asia Pacific (Apac)’s sustainable bond market, despite the region making up a significant portion of global sustainability issuance. Chaoni Huang, HSBC’s Asia head of sustainable finance and transition and executive vice president at HKGFA, told FinanceAsia that while sustainable finance has directed considerable capital towards low-carbon technologies and companies, mudh more can be done.
