Noisy Minor Who Did Not Contribute to the Drinking Session Attacked by Companion
A noisy minor who did not contribute to the drinking session was reportedly attacked by a companion during a disagreement.
On early Sunday morning (October 4, 2026), a group of young people got into a fight after a disagreement during a drinking session along F. Palmares Street in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya.
According to Passi City Police Chief PLtCol. German Magbanua, the group had reportedly come from a local fiesta before going to a convenience store where they continued spending time together and drinking.
The gathering later turned tense when one of the young men allegedly became too noisy. The situation became worse after another member of the group was reportedly upset because someone did not contribute to the money being used to buy alcohol.
The disagreement eventually turned into a physical fight. The commotion caught the attention of authorities, prompting police officers to respond to the area.
Two individuals who were already of legal age were arrested in connection with the incident. Meanwhile, two other people involved were found to be minors and were turned over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for proper handling.
Authorities did not release the names of those involved, particularly because one of the individuals was a minor.
Drinking may also make it harder for people to control their actions and settle arguments peacefully.
Police intervention helped stop the confrontation before it could become more serious. The case involving minors will be handled with the proper procedures through the social welfare office, while the adults may face the appropriate legal process based on the results of the investigation.
