2 Students Hit by Tricycle in Puerto Princesa, Driver Allegedly Leaves Without Checking on Them
A tricycle driver accidentally hit two students in Puerto Princesa and allegedly left them without checking their condition.
On October 8, 2026, a mother in Puerto Princesa City is seeking help in identifying a tricycle driver who allegedly hit her child and another student before leaving the scene without checking their condition. The incident reportedly happened at around 7:35 a.m. along the road near the National Food Authority (NFA) in Barangay Liwanag.
The mother, identified as Dolor Dolor, shared her concern on social media, hoping that someone could help her identify the tricycle driver or operator involved in the incident.
According to her account, the tricycle struck her child and another student while they were in the area. The driver didn’t even stop and check whether the children were hurt after the collision.
The mother said she wanted to speak with the driver to understand what happened. Rather than immediately accusing the person of anything beyond her account, she appealed to the public for information that could help her find the individual involved.
As of the information shared by the mother, the identity of the tricycle driver had not been established. Further details about the children’s condition and whether a formal report had been filed were also not provided.
The mother continues to seek assistance from anyone who may recognize the tricycle or know the person operating it. Anyone with relevant information may contact her privately to help clarify the incident.
“Baka po may nakakakilala ng operator or driver po ng tricycle na ito… Nabundol nya po kaninang umaga ang anak ko sa tapat ng NFA. Ni hindi nya man lang nya sinilip or inalam kung ano ng lagay ng bata. Basta nya n lang iniwan… Gusto ko sana syang makausap. Pasuyo n lang po sana pa pm. October 8, 2026 at about 7:35 AM,” she said.
