Amid the Anticipated Super El Niño in PH, Marcos Jr. Assures Public of Gov’t Support
MARCOS JR. – The President made the call to the public to start collecting rainwater ahead of the super El Niño in the Philippines.
The Philippines is one of the countries that experience two (2) seasons — warm and rainy seasons. However, amid the reported devastation in the world’s natural environment, many people could attest that the heat nowadays is different compared to then.

In fact, currently, the Filipinos are anticipating a super El Niño phenomenon that may cause extreme drought in many areas across the nation. It is expected to start in November and to last until middle of the year in 2027.
The super El Niño might come amid a very challenging economy in the Philippines when almost everything has experienced a price increase. The Palace previously stressed that Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. did not want the fuel crisis to happen. Countless Pinoys are suffering financially nowadays.

Marcos Jr. had always been worried about the food for the Filipino people. Previously, he said the government has no control over the fuel costs but can help the people when it comes to food prices. Recently, the President also broke his silence on the super El Niño that is expected to hit the country.

Based on News5, Marcos Jr. gave an advice to the public to start collecting rainwater. He advised the people to buy pails to use in rainwater collection as preparation for the super El Niño phenomenon.
“Bumili na kayo ng balde para mag-ulan, ma kolekta na ninyo lahat. Tuturuan namin kayo, we will give you ‘yung gamot para maging malinis, we’ll give you the filter, and we’ll teach you how to do everything para hindi kayo magkasakit at maayos ang pag-treat ng tubig, pag-filter ng tubig and it will be healthy even for little children,” the President said based on the post.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos is on his seat for more than half of his term already. Previously, he revealed that his wish is that when he will step down as president of the country in 2028, there will be no more hungry Filipinos.
Recently, amid his last name being one of the most popular surnames in the Philippine political arena, Marcos Jr. revealed that he wanted two (2) professions or crafts and not the presidency.
