Sandro Marcos Firmly Denies Owning a Vape Business and Reveals Why
SANDRO MARCOS – Amid allegations about his supposed business interests, Sandro Marcos has issued a strong denial and explained how the issue could affect tobacco farmers in Ilocos Norte.
House Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos has denied allegations linking him to a business in the vaping industry, firmly stating that he has no intention of entering the sector.
In a video shared by X user Justin (@justinmaniluh), Marcos addressed the claims and clarified that he has never owned a business connected to vaping products. He also emphasized that he would not pursue any venture related to the industry in the future.

“I have never and will never own any business to do with the vaping industry,” Marcos said.
The lawmaker explained that the tobacco industry plays a significant role in Ilocos Norte’s economy, providing livelihoods for numerous farmers who depend on tobacco cultivation to support their families.
According to Marcos, establishing a business in the vaping sector could potentially affect the livelihood of farmers in his province, particularly those whose income relies on tobacco production.
“Kung mag-aari ako ng negosyo ng vape, mawawalan ng hanapbuhay ang ating mga constituent,” he explained.
Marcos further pointed out that entering the vaping business could raise questions about his commitment to the people he represents. He suggested that voters might challenge his position if he became involved in an industry he believes could negatively affect the livelihood of his constituents.
He reiterated that he has no ownership of any vaping-related business and clarified that he does not personally use vape products.
“I have never owned a vape business. I never will. I don’t even vape myself,” he said.
Marcos also described the allegations as part of what he characterized as false information being circulated by individuals seeking to create trouble for the government.

His statements underscored his position that his personal and business interests should not conflict with the economic welfare of the people he represents, particularly tobacco farmers who depend on the industry for their income.
The controversy has drawn attention to the connection between the tobacco industry and the growing vaping market, especially in provinces where tobacco farming remains an important source of livelihood.
Despite the allegations, Marcos maintained his denial, emphasizing that he has neither owned a vape business nor intends to become involved in the industry. He stood by his explanation that protecting the livelihood of his constituents remains an important consideration in his position on the issue.
Sandro Marcos does not own any vape business
I find the whole rumor vape business rumor ridiculous at first — thinking that Sandro Marcos is smart enough not to invest on the direct competition of tobacco.
Rowena Guanzon and the rest of the Duterte vloggers kept on saying it! I see it on Reddit, blaming Sandro Marcos for the rise of vape prices. Lol.
They even used this ridiculous rumor to divert our attention away from a Mindanaon politician who is apparently the person behind the infamous Laos drug thing.
