Man Allegedly Bites Girlfriend’s Arm During Argument in Maunlad
A 39-year-old man allegedly bit his 23-year-old girlfriend’s right arm following an argument between them in Barangay Maunlad.
Recently, the Facebook page We R1 At Your Service Official shared a photo of the woman’s arm, which was allegedly bitten by her boyfriend after he caught her with another man. The post quickly went viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to a report shared by City Anti-Crime, the couple, identified as Jeffrey, 39, and Xi, 23, were arguing when the incident happened. The disagreement reportedly started after Jeffrey allegedly discovered that his girlfriend had been seeing another man.
Angered by the situation, Jeffrey allegedly bit Xi’s right arm during their confrontation. The photo shared online showed the affected area, which appeared red and had visible bite marks.
Authorities responded after receiving a report through the 911 emergency hotline about a couple arguing near Mo Beach Resort. Personnel who were on duty at a temporary shelter in Gate 2 immediately went to the location to check on the situation.
Upon arrival, they found Jeffrey and Xi involved in an argument. After learning about the incident, the responding personnel brought both parties to the Barangay Maunlad Hall for proper assistance.
Barangay Captain Alfredo Mondragon then spoke with the couple and helped address the situation. Both individuals were turned over to barangay officials, as they were residents of the same community.
Some netizens expressed their concern over how relationship conflicts can lead to physical harm. Others stressed that disagreements, jealousy, and suspicions should never be reasons to hurt a partner.
