Female Teacher Says She Feels Like Cat After Surviving Several Life-Threatening Experiences
A female teacher expressed gratitude for still being alive despite going through several experiences that nearly cost her life.
Recently, Mercy Joy Lisadio Pabillore, a Facebook user, shared her experiences after repeatedly facing life-threatening situations. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from netizens.
The 36-year-old teacher recalled that she nearly drowned in a river in 2002. She survived after her auntie ‘Torya’, who was from Lati, helped move a raft that allowed her to hold on and stay alive.

In 2013, while working as a kindergarten volunteer in Mahalang, she had another frightening experience when she fell into a river while riding a motorcycle along a dangerous road. Despite the risk, she survived the incident.
Another accident happened in 2014 near Bago Bangga Kamatis, when she was involved in an incident with a Ceres bus. She suffered several scratches and injuries but was fortunate to survive.
In 2018, she became seriously ill and was rushed to a hospital. Doctors found that her platelet count had dropped dangerously low, leaving her in need of medical attention. Once again, she recovered.

Her close call continued in 2019 during a swimming trip in Sipalay. She was nearly struck by the propeller of a pump boat or raft but was rescued by someone she described as her superhero.
This 2026, she experienced severe abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, chills, and extreme weakness. She was brought to the hospital, where doctors found low potassium levels, an amoeba infection, and an enlarged liver.
Despite these difficult experiences, Pabillore remains grateful to be alive. As she celebrated her 36th year, she looked back on the challenges she had faced with faith and appreciation.
