Police Arrest Group of Men Allegedly for Taking Parked Tricycle in Kalibo
Several men were taken into police custody after allegedly taking a parked tricycle along Oyo Torong Street in Poblacion, Kalibo, Aklan
The vehicle’s driver, identified as Norberto, reported the incident to the Kalibo Municipal Police Station. The tricycle was allegedly taken from where it had been parked.
According to Norberto’s partner, she personally saw five men returning the tricycle to its original location that morning. When she confronted the group about their actions, the men allegedly ran away toward a nearby river.

The woman’s account helped authorities identify the individuals who were allegedly involved in the incident. Police officers later took several men into custody as they continued looking into the complaint.
The couple suspects that the group may have used the tricycle while carrying out a theft before bringing it back to the place where it was originally parked. However, this remains their suspicion and still needs to be confirmed through the police investigation.
The incident has raised questions about why the tricycle was taken in the first place and what the men may have done with it while it was away from its parking spot.

Meanwhile, police are still searching for three other suspects believed to be part of the group. Authorities are expected to investigate their possible involvement and gather more information about the incident.
The police have yet to establish the full circumstances surrounding the reported taking of the tricycle, including whether it was used in another crime.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine what happened and identify everyone who may have been involved. Further details may be released as the investigation progresses.
