Glaiza De Castro Warns Buyers of Her Baler Property to Deal Only With Verified Brokers

Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro has issued a reminder to people interested in buying her holiday home in Baler, Aurora, urging them to transact only with brokers confirmed by her camp. The move is meant to protect potential buyers from individuals who may falsely claim to represent her, as reported by GMA Entertainment.

In a social media post on November 1, the actress explained that she and her family are currently selling some of their properties. “If anyone says they represent us as a broker or agent, please verify with our official contact person first before proceeding with any transaction,” she wrote.

Glaiza also made it clear that being close to the family is not enough to act on their behalf. She noted that a photo with them, a personal acquaintance, or copies of their documents are not proof of authority to represent them, adding that only confirmation from their contact person will be considered valid.

The actress first announced in September that the Baler house was up for sale. She bought the property in 2018 as a place where her family could escape and slow down, and it became the setting for birthdays, celebrations and long weekends. During the pandemic, the family spent more time there, and the house was later listed on Airbnb for other guests, according to Philstar.com.

“Now, life is changing again. Our priorities have shifted and new plans for the future are taking shape,” Glaiza said at the time, explaining the decision to let the home “begin a new chapter with another family.”

The change in plans comes as Glaiza prepares to welcome her first child with her Irish husband, David Rainey. She is also part of the 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Amir” with Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo.

Her reminder is a timely one, as property deals involving well-known personalities can easily attract people who use familiar names and faces to win the trust of buyers. For anyone eyeing the Baler home, the message is simple: verify first before handing over any money or documents.
