Customer Expresses Frustration After Motorcycle Mechanic Allegedly Uses Old Gear Oil During Service
A male customer expressed his disappointment after catching a mechanic at a service center allegedly using old gear oil on his motorcycle while keeping the new oil aside.
Recently, Alvin Bambico Cuevo, a Facebook user, shared a video of the mechanic’s alleged modus at a service center. The post quickly gained attention online and received various reactions from netizens.
In the video, Cuevo can be seen questioning the mechanic about why old gear oil was being poured into his motorcycle while the new bottle was kept aside. The mechanic apologized after being confronted, but the customer decided to report the incident to the management.

The store manager immediately confronted the mechanic to ask for an explanation. Afterward, the mechanic returned to work and proceeded to put the new gear oil into the motorcycle.
However, Cuevo noticed another detail that caught his attention. He also observed that the mechanic did not use all the engine oil and left some of it unused.
The customer shared the experience to remind other motorcycle owners to pay attention whenever they have their vehicles serviced. He explained that customers usually bring their motorcycles to authorized service centers because they trust the staff to provide proper service.

However, his experience made him realize that it is still important to check the products being used.
Cuevo also expressed disappointment with how the store handled the situation, saying he had expected some consideration, such as free labor, after what happened. Despite the incident, he still paid the full service bill.
Later, he received a call from someone who introduced himself as a representative of Guanzon’s head office. He was offered free oil and labor during his next visit as a way to make up for the experience.
Although he appreciated the offer, Cuevo said he had already decided not to return to the service center.
