Lans Nagal Bags Education Creator Award at TikTok Awards Philippines 2026
“This is Lans” creator Louise Anne Nagal, better known as Lans Nagal, has been named Education Creator of the Year at the TikTok Awards Philippines 2026. Sparkle GMA Artist Center announced the win while the Cavite-based creator continues her run as a Kapuso housemate on “Pinoy Big Brother Collab Edition 3.0,” GMA News Online reported.
The local awards night was held at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City on Thursday, November 5, under the theme “The ones who spark it.” TikTok Philippines recognized creators who made an impact across education, entertainment, sports, food, beauty, lifestyle, and other fields, according to Interaksyon.

Before entering the PBB house, Lans was already known for informative TikTok videos about science, animals, and everyday questions. A veterinary medicine student from General Trias, Cavite, she built a following under the handle @thisislans_ with content that mixes learning with an approachable tone, GMA Entertainment noted.
Despite being inside the Big Brother house, her educational work outside the show was still recognized. Sparkle congratulated her on Instagram and said the award allows her to keep inspiring audiences beyond the PBB stage, GMA Entertainment reported. Viewers can still catch her on the Kapuso reality show on weekdays and weekends across GMA and Kapuso Stream as she balances life inside the house with the recognition her educational content has earned outside it.
Other Philippine winners include Philip Hernandez, or Davao Conyo, as Creator of the Year; Spencer Serafica for Entertainment; Margaux Nonato for Sports; Pau Pelaez for Beauty and Fashion; Juri Imao for Food; Belle Rodolfo for Lifestyle; and Jericho Mark Asis as Rising Creator of the Year. Special citations also went to advocates of TikTok’s “Think Twice” digital literacy campaign, ABS-CBN Lifestyle reported.
Lans and her fellow local winners will represent the Philippines at the inaugural TikTok Awards Southeast Asia. Regional winners from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines are set to be announced on November 27 in Bali, Indonesia.
For a housemate still living under the Big Brother cameras, the award is a reminder that the lessons she shares online still travel far beyond the house walls.
