This is what Chiz Escudero said about this.
Senate President Chiz Escudero appears unbothered following the remarks of Tito Sotto, who is poised for a Senate comeback.
TV host Tito Sotto is poised for a Senate comeback and expressed recently that he is open to being the chief of the Senate again in the 20th Congress if supported and voted for by the majority.

To recall, Sotto was Senate President from May 2018 until the end of his second term as senator in June 2022.
Current Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero reacted to this, and according to him, he will remain on top as the leader of the Chamber unless the majority decides to replace him. He cited the Senate rules, which stated the Senate president will continue in office if they have not graduated, as is the current situation.
He even added that anyone from the Senate, composed of 24 senators, can replace him if given enough numbers. Whoever holds the number must accept the responsibility.
But for now, while he is sitting as the Senate President, he will focus on pending legislations. He expressed that the elections had just ended with all its arguing and noise; hence, there’s no point in starting one again.
“Katatapos lang ng eleksyon at bangayan at ingay sisimulan ninyo na naman agad. Palipasin ninyo naman tapusin muna natin itong kongresong ito may dalawa pa kaming linggo na marami pa kaming inaasahang mapapasa at maihahabol na mga panukalang batas,” he said.
To become a Senate president, a senator must have at least 13 votes from the other senators. Sotto previously stated that he is willing to accept the Senate presidency if he has enough numbers. When asked about his plans, he shared that he will make sure the government budget is used correctly and he will “exercise oversight on previous laws authored and introduce new legislation.”
