A 79-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his neighbor’s cat in Barangay Lingunan, Valenzuela City.
The owner of the cat, a 33-year-old man, was having drinks with his brother-in-law when they suddenly heard loud cries coming from outside their house. The sound appeared to be coming from their pet cat, which seemed to be in serious distress.
The two immediately went outside to check on the animal. When they found the cat, they were shocked to see that it was already bleeding and had a knife stuck in its hind leg. The incident left them alarmed and worried about the condition of their pet.

As they looked around the area, they noticed drops of blood on the ground. The two followed the trail of blood, which eventually led them to the house of their elderly neighbor.
