Customer Finds Glass-Like Particles in Instant Noodles Seasoning
A female customer expressed her disappointment after reportedly discovering glass mixed in the seasoning of an instant pancit canton.
Recently, Angelica D. Noblefranca, a Facebook user, shared a video of the pancit canton she bought, which allegedly had glass mixed into the seasoning. The post quickly went viral and drew reactions online.
According to her, she noticed the unusual particles before mixing the seasoning into her noodles, which may have prevented a possible accident.

In her caption, Noblefranca reminded others to be careful when preparing instant noodles and to always check the contents before eating. She also mentioned that she had bought two packets, and both appeared to have the same kind of particles mixed in the soy sauce seasoning.
Despite the discovery, it is still unclear whether the particles were actually glass. Some seasoning packets include a note explaining that crystal-like salt formations may appear due to changes in temperature.
These salt crystals can sometimes look like small shards but are said to dissolve once mixed with hot noodles.
However, the explanation did not fully ease the concerns of many consumers. While some believe it could simply be salt crystallization, others are calling for further clarification from the manufacturer to ensure product safety.
Taking a few extra seconds to inspect what we eat can help prevent possible harm and ensure a safer dining experience.
