Sen. Bong Go believes that this will happen if VP Sara Duterte will become the next president
Sen. Christopher Bong Go is confident that Filipinos will return to normal life if Vice President Sara Duterte is elected president of the country in 2028.
During a PDP meeting, at the Club Filipino in San Juan City, Go reaffirmed his loyalty to the Duterte family and called for party unity to sustain the previous administration’s direction, based on the article in Daily Tribune.
“Makakabalik lang tayo sa normal na pamumuhay kung magiging presidente po si VP Inday Sara,” the Senator said.

Go said he is also confident that the Top 1 in the 2028 senatorial race will come from their camp. He led the 2025 senatorial race and in 2022 it was Sen. Robin Padilla.
He encouraged party members to secure more Senate seats, noting that they need superior numbers to pass laws successfully.
“Importante yun dahil hirap kami sa Senado. Kami nga ni Senator Robin, kumbaga dalawang number one na senador, tinatawag namin ang mga sarili namin na mga basang sisiw, nandoon lang kami sa likod,” the lawmaker said.
He also urged PDP members to continue growing the party’s base, voicing confidence in its ability to reclaim its former strength, just as how they were during the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Senator also stressed the importance of preserving the legacy of FPRRD. For him, this will make sure that what the former president started will not be put to waste. He once again expressed his love and support for the former president.
Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte is the newly elected president of the Philippine Democratic Party (PDP). The mayor praised Sen. Bong Go for his continued work and helping others despite the noise of politics.
