BATO DELA ROSA – Political circles were shaken after reports emerged that Senator Bato dela Rosa quietly left the Senate in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Malacañang has confirmed that Senator Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa has officially left the Senate premises in the early hours of Thursday, May 14, amid continuing public speculation regarding his whereabouts. During a press briefing held on May 14, Palace press officer Claire Castro disclosed that multiple sources verified the senator’s departure from the Senate building around 2:30 a.m.
According to Castro, “Several sources confirmed that Senator Bato is no longer in the Senate premises.”

Earlier, Bilyonaryo News Channel claimed Dela Rosa departed the Senate before dawn together with fellow senator Robin Padilla.
The report further gained attention after lawyer Jesus Falcis posted on Facebook that Padilla had allegedly been spotted at the VIP area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. According to the post, the senator was reportedly accompanied by Dela Rosa during the sighting.
As of this writing, the National Bureau of Investigation has not issued any official confirmation regarding the current whereabouts of Dela Rosa. Authorities have likewise remained silent on whether any monitoring operations or coordination efforts are ongoing in connection with the senator’s movements.

The situation continues to spark public interest online, with many awaiting official statements from both the senator’s camp and concerned government agencies. Meanwhile, no direct statement has yet been released by Dela Rosa himself regarding reports of his departure from the Senate or the rumors surrounding his location.
Questions also continue to circulate over the circumstances surrounding his exit and whether further developments will emerge in the coming days.
