Recently, Paul TV PH, a Facebook page, reported that the two men allegedly burned the kittens in Cabuyao, Laguna, while recording the act for their online content. The post quickly went viral on social media and drew angry reactions from netizens.
The incident reportedly took place in Mamatid Phase 2 Extension, where two men were seen allegedly harming several kittens while recording the act. According to reports, the individuals appeared to treat the incident as entertainment and created video content from the disturbing act.
Reports claimed that the kittens were allegedly doused with alcohol, had their fur set on fire, and were subjected to other forms of abuse. The video also reportedly showed the men laughing while carrying out the acts, further fueling public outrage.
Many netizens urged local officials, barangay authorities, and the police to investigate the incident. Calls for accountability continued to grow, with animal welfare supporters stressing that cruelty toward animals should never be treated as entertainment or social media content.
