Social media personality and former presidential daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte issued a striking statement during a political event intended to show support for her older sister Vice President Sara Duterte.

Duterte supporters flocked to the “Inday Sara Na Movement Philippines” political event to show their solidarity with the Vice President.

The event took place today, September 9, at Club Filipino in San Juan City.

This gathering was prompted by the impeachment case against VP Sara that is currently being heard in the Senate, in addition to the grave threats charges she is facing at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (QC RTC).

The Vice President posted bail last Saturday, September 5, after an arrest warrant was issued against her.

Aside from this, DDS (Die-hard Duterte Supporters) also gathered to express their support for VP Sara‘s presidential bid in the 2028 elections. To recall, VP Sara declared last February that she be running for president in the next elections.

One of the people who spoke during the pro-VP Sara event was her younger sister Kitty Duterte.

The words she addressed to the Duterte supporters attending the gathering became a trending topic, based on the article in Bandera.

I would also like to thank everyone for the unwavering and continuous love and support. The country needs it now more than ever, Do not let the sacrifices and the hardships of our fellowmen be in vain,” Kitty said in her message via video.

Then, Kitty seemed to have a warning. “Managot ang dapat managot. Walang iwanan, babalik tayo sa 2028. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas, mabuhay ang Pilipino. Thank you,” the younger sister of VP Sara stated. Kitty Duterte received a loud applause from the supporters of her clan.

Meanwhile, Kitty shared a throwback photo with her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, at the start of Christmas season in the Philippines. She recalled how memorable the lighting ceremony.
