A vlogger allegedly criticizes a small business when his alleged request for a P5,000 talent fee was not approved.

Recently, the Facebook page Calle 39 shared a video and claimed that the vlogger criticized their small business after they were unable to provide the requested P5,000 talent fee. The post quickly went viral and sparked reactions from netizens online.

After the request was reportedly declined, the business claimed that the vlogger returned and later posted content that negatively portrayed the store. The owners expressed disappointment, saying they felt their business was unfairly targeted despite not doing anything wrong.

The owners also stated that they did not know the vlogger personally before the incident. They claimed that the content creator had visited the store twice and later became critical after not receiving the requested payment.

Many users expressed support for the small business and shared their views on the growing practice of businesses being approached for paid promotions by online content creators.

As of this writing, the identity of the vlogger has not been officially confirmed in the viral post, and no public statement from the other side has been reported.

Despite the controversy, the owners of Calle 39 said they remain focused on operating their business and serving their customers as they always have.
