Young Mother Shares Alleged Harassment Inside Crowded Jeepney
A young mother was allegedly groped by a male passenger inside a crowded jeepney while she was on her way home from school.
Recently, Sabrina Mae Pingol, a Facebook user, shared a video and photos of the man who allegedly touched her inappropriately. The post quickly went viral and garnered various reactions from online users.
According to Sabrina, she and her friend were traveling home from STI Malolos at around 5 p.m. They boarded a jeepney outside the school, but most of the vehicles were already full. Since they wanted to get home before it became too late, they decided to squeeze into the crowded jeepney.

Sabrina said the man seated beside her made her uncomfortable when he repeatedly pressed his shoulder against hers. At first, she thought their closeness was caused by the vehicle’s movement, but she noticed that he continued moving closer even when the jeepney was not moving.
Pingol became frightened when the man allegedly moved behind her and touched her waist. Sabrina said she was shaking and could not call for help because of her fear. Other passengers eventually noticed what was happening, and she transferred to another seat when one became available. The man also got off the jeepney shortly afterward.
The lady commuter explained that she recorded the man after the alleged incident because she wanted to have evidence that could help identify him. She stressed that she was not trying to ruin anyone’s reputation but wanted to address what had happened to her.

As a student and a mother of two children, Sabrina said the experience left her deeply shaken. She worries about her safety because her children depend on her.
She also asked the public to share her post to help identify the man, who reportedly got off near TESDA in Guiguinto.
