Muntinlupa Mayor Faces 2 Young Men Behind Viral Slapping Video on Alabang Footbridge
Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon personally talked to the two young men involved in a viral video showing a sleeping man being slapped on a footbridge in Alabang.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, October 29, 2026, the mayor said the two, who are 18 and 19 years old, claimed that the man had thrown stones at them while they were shooting a rap music video.

However, Biazon stressed that whatever really happened, it is not a reason to hurt a person who could not defend himself. He also made it clear that he was not pleased with what they did.
“Kinausap ko yung dalawang binatilyong sangkot sa kumalat na video ng pananampal sa isang lalaking natutulog sa footbridge sa Alabang,” the mayor wrote.
The mayor reminded the pair that they are no longer minors and can now be held accountable under the law. He added that if they want to be taken seriously as rappers representing Cupang, they should also know the responsibility that comes with it.
“Hindi pwedeng puro siga-sigaan sa video, tapos kapag hinarap na sa totoong buhay ang consequences ng mga kalokohan, saka kayo mag-iisip at manghihingi ng tawad,” Biazon said, which roughly means they cannot act tough in videos and only think and ask for forgiveness once they face the real consequences.
Biazon said he told the two to make a public apology to the man they hurt. Since their act was posted online, he said it is only right that their apology should also be made public.
He also said he will not allow anyone to bully, threaten or act as if there is no law in Muntinlupa.
According to Politiko Metro Manila, the police and barangay officials have been ordered to closely monitor the actions of the two young men.
The mayor warned that if they commit another violation, the city will act according to the law, adding that they will go straight to jail if there is legal basis for it.
