Fuel Firms to Impose Another Mixed Oil Price Adjustments Next Week
FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Various gas stations in the country are expected to implement another mixed oil price adjustments starting next week.
Motorists in the Philippines may face another gasoline price increase next week, while diesel users could enjoy further savings as oil companies prepare to implement new pump price adjustments on October 13, 2026 (Tuesday).
Based on initial industry estimates, gasoline prices may rise by P2.00 to P2.20 per liter, while diesel prices could drop by P1.80 to P2.00 per liter. The projected changes cover the period from October 13 to 19, although the final figures may still change following the last trading session of the week.

Leo Bellas, president of Jetti Petroleum, explained that gasoline prices remain high because of tight supplies across Asia. Low fuel inventories, refinery shutdowns, and China’s temporary suspension of refined fuel exports have continued to affect the regional market.
Although China may resume fuel exports within October, uncertainty over supplies remains. Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said the suspension has not affected Philippine oil companies so far, as suppliers continue to honor existing orders and long-term contracts.
Meanwhile, Diesel prices are expected to decline for a third straight week, partly because of plans by the Group of Seven countries to release 100 million barrels of crude oil and diesel from emergency reserves.

However, the expected rollback may be limited by reduced refining output in Russia and the Middle East. Oil and gas production shutdowns in the Gulf of Mexico ahead of an approaching hurricane could also disrupt supplies and affect refining operations in the United States.
The latest forecasts follow the October 6 adjustments, when gasoline prices increased by p1.90 to P1.93 per liter, diesel prices dropped by P1.30, and kerosene prices rose by P3.30.
Oil companies are expected to announce the official adjustments on Monday, October 12, before implementing the new prices the following day.
