Senator Bato dela Rosa had this reaction to the video of his viral escape CCTV footage that circulated online.
Dela Rosa became a trending topic on social media when he had his surprise appearance in the Senate after almost six months of absence, following reports of an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The Senator was seen rushing to the plenary where he expressed his anger towards the agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and former Senator Antonio Trillanes, who were allegedly chasing him, and that there was a “wrestle” that happened. However, he clarified that the tripping on the stairs was what he called “wrestle,” as the CCTV footage did not show any physical struggle between him and the NBI agents.
Then, the CCTV footage showing how he escaped from the NBI agents surfaced, and this became a meme on social media. There was a point when the senator almost stumbled.
In a reel that Inuirer.net recently shared on Facebook, it can be seen that Sen. Bato dela Rosa reacted to his own video that went viral.
The lawmaker laughed at it and said that it had already reached millions of views. In the comment section of this post, Dela Rosa received negative reactions.
