How true is it that the face of Daniel Fernando was physically assaulted?
Bulacan Governor and former actor Daniel Fernando was allegedly beaten up by a high-ranking official.
Fernando rose to fame as one of the actors during the 80s who did some sultry films. Eventually, his acting career took a higher notch when he became part of the iconic Mara Clara series of Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes.
His career in politics started in 2021 when he became a member of the Bulacan Provincial Board. He is currently serving as the governor of the said province.

Gov. Daniel Fernando was one of the topics in the recent social media posts of veteran broadcaster Mon Tulfo. The post was about the alleged incident that happened to the actor-turned-politician.
Tulfo claimed that for quite some time now, Fernando was not coming out because his face was allegedly swollen from being beaten up by a high-ranking official.
Allegedly, the governor rolled around when the official, who was not named by Tulfo, was punching him. It was also said that Fernando was kneeling and just getting beaten up because of what he allegedly did to President Bongbong Marcos’s son, Vinni Marcos.
Tulfo stressed that PBBM definitely didn’t beat Fernando up, and neither did the Presidential Security Command. “Sabihin na lang natin na isang opisyal na nagmalasakit sa anak ng Pangulong BBM,” the veteran broadcaster said.

Allegedly, the governor’s bodyguards targeted Vinni and his driver when Vinni’s Toyota Land Cruiser overtook the convoy of the local official.
According to Tulfo, when Fernando would go out, he was in a convoy and didn’t want to be overtaken. “The arrogant governor’s convoy usually hogs the highway at kapag may nag-overtake ay hinahabol nila at tinututukan ng baril,” the veteran broadcaster said, and allegedly, Fernando’s bodyguards did this to Vinni Marcos.
However, it was said that when the bodyguards took Vinni’s license, they were surprised when they saw his name. Tulfo said that Gov. Daniel Fernando apologized to the President in a letter, and the latter reportedly gave the forgiveness.
Tulfo stressed that PBBM had no idea that Fernando had been beaten up. “Kaya kayong mainitin ang ulo sa daan ay magbago na: baka kayo makakita ng inyong katapat,” the veteran broadcaster said.
