U.S. Pres. Donald Trump Speaks After Failed 21-Hour Peace Talks w/ Iran
DONALD TRUMP – The United States President announced that he has ordered the U.S. Navy to immediately block the Strait of Hormuz.
Shortly after Trump previously said that Iran’s “whole civilization will die” if it will not make it to the ultimatum issued for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the United States and Iran agreed to a 2-week ceasefire. The American Leader claimed then that their military has allegedly achieved all its objectives.
However, recently, United States Vice Pres. JD Vance announced that the U.S.-Iran peace talk which lasted for 21 hours failed to arrive at an agreement. According to him, Iran did not agree with the conditions brought by the Americans.
The two (2) countries which in conflict for six weeks now did not agree on the condition that Iran will not have nuclear power. They also failed to arrive at a common ground with regards to the control in the Strait of Hormuz.
After the United States and Israel launched joint airstrikes against Iran, Tehran implemented restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz. It banned the vessels linked to Iran’s enemies.
The Strait of Hormuz is a vital passageway for global oil shipments. The United States has warned Iran several times as it called for the country to fully open the Strait. U.S. Pres. Donald Trump even previously warned Iran that U.S. might wipe out its whole civilization if it will not open the strait with the given ultimatum.
Shortly after, the American President confirmed that they have agreed on a 2-week ceasefire. However, the two (2) countries failed to arrive at an agreement during their recent peace talk.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, U.S. Pres. Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. Navy to block the Strait of Hormuz at 1400 GMT. The American Chief Executive is furious over Iran’s refusal to surrender its nuclear goals.
“Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz,” the U.S. President said.
Furthermore, based on the report, U.S. Pres. Donald Trump said that his goal is to clear the Strait of Hormuz from mines and reopen it to all shipping. For now, the American Leader does not want Iran to profit from its control of the passage.
“Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL… I have also instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in International Waters that has paid a toll to Iran. No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas. We will also begin destroying the mines the Iranians laid in the Straits,” he said.
Previously, U.S. Pres. Donald Trump warned that Iran should fully open the Strait of Hormuz or they’ll “be living in hell”.
