An elderly store watcher in Naga City was left heartbroken after he was reportedly paid with fake money while watching over a small store. 

Recently, the Facebook page Asintado Sa Radyo shared a photo of the elderly man who appeared saddened after allegedly receiving a fake P1,000 bill. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions from the online community. 

The elderly man identified as Lolo Ireneo Ayora, who helps to look after a local shop, did not expect that a simple transaction would turn into a heartbreaking experience. According to reports, he received a P1,000 bill from a customer, believing it to be real.

Ayora discovered that the money was fake when he went to a pharmacy to buy medicine for his diabetes. To his surprise, the cashier informed him that the money he was holding was fake. It left him unable to purchase the medicine he badly needed. 

Many people expressed sympathy for the elderly man, especially knowing that the money was meant for something important for his health. For someone already facing daily challenges, the loss of even a small amount can feel heavy. 

After the incident, Lolo Ireneo sought help from a local radio station to share his situation and ask for assistance. The story reached many kind-hearted individuals who were willing to offer support in any way they could.
