Female Call Center Agent Robbed Outside Her Home After Workshift in Bacolod City
A female call center agent became the victim of a robbery just as she was about to enter her home in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City.
The victim, identified only by the alias “Rhea,” is believed to be around 30 years old. The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. after she had finished her work shift and was heading home.
According to Police Major Peter John Ramos, chief of Police Station 6, the victim was already near her house and was about to enter the gate when two men riding a motorcycle suddenly approached her.

The suspects reportedly stopped in front of the victim and confronted her. One of the men allegedly threatened her with a bladed weapon, leaving her with little chance to resist. Fearing for her safety, she was forced to surrender her belongings.
The robbers took her mobile phone, which was valued at around ₱30,000. After getting the cellphone, the suspects quickly fled the area on their motorcycle before anyone could stop them.
The victim was left shaken by the experience. What should have been a normal trip home after work turned into a frightening encounter just a few steps away from the safety of her own house.
Police immediately conducted an investigation and reviewed available information to identify the suspects. Authorities later confirmed that the two men had already been identified through the police station’s rogue’s gallery.
A manhunt operation is now underway as officers continue efforts to locate and arrest the suspects. Investigators are also hoping to recover the stolen cellphone and gather additional evidence that may strengthen the case.
The victim has expressed her intention to file a robbery complaint against the suspects once they are apprehended.
