Female Student Allegedly Attacked by Fellow Students in Puerto Princesa
A female student received assistance from authorities after she was allegedly attacked by fellow students in Puerto Princesa City.
The Facebook page 103.1 Brigada News FM – Palawan reported that a minor female student was allegedly attacked by her schoolmates. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
On Wednesday afternoon (August 26, 2026), Personnel from the Anti-Crime Taskforce (ACTF) found the minor crying near the New Public Market in Old Buncag, Barangay Matahimik.
The incident came to the attention of authorities after they received a report about a group of young people allegedly involved in a commotion near a gasoline station along Malvar Street.
ACTF officers immediately responded to the area to check the situation. However, when they arrived, no one involved in the reported disturbance was found at the scene. The officers then continued their patrol around nearby areas.
During their roving operation, they spotted a young female student sitting and crying. Concerned about her condition, the officers approached her and asked what had happened.
Based on the information she provided, the student said she had gone to a shopping mall before the incident occurred. She alleged that a female schoolmate suddenly pulled her and physically attacked her.
Authorities gathered information from the student and began looking into the matter. During the investigation, one of the individuals allegedly involved in the assault reportedly dropped a school identification card.
It became an important lead for authorities as they worked to identify those connected to the incident.
Because of this, the Anti-Crime Taskforce immediately coordinated with the administration of the school involved to assist in verifying the identities of the students and to help address the situation properly.
The victim has already filed a blotter report with authorities, officially documenting the incident. Investigators are continuing to gather information regarding the incident.
