Family in Zamboanga Wakes Up After House Is Allegedly Splashed w/ Human Waste
A house in Zamboanga del Sur was allegedly splashed with human waste while its residents were fast asleep inside.
Around 11:50 p.m on Saturday (August 8, 2026), instead of being awakened by an alarm or the usual sounds of the night, the family was suddenly awaked by an unpleasant situation inside their home in Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.
According to reports, members of the household were sleeping peacefully when human waste was allegedly thrown into their house. The waste reportedly reached parts of their bedroom and sleeping area, causing immediate alarm among the occupants.
Aside from dealing with the foul smell, they also had to clean the mess that had spread inside their room. The incident also raised concerns for the family’s safety.
The family reportedly struggled to rest after the incident because they feared that the person responsible might return. Their worries were made worse by the fact that they still do not know who carried out the act.
Fortunately, no one was reported injured during the incident. However, the emotional distress and discomfort experienced by the family have left a lasting impact.
Authorities are now conducting an investigation to identify the person behind the act. Investigators are also looking into possible motives and whether the incident may be connected to any personal dispute or other related issue.
The family hopes that the individual responsible will be identified and held accountable for the troubling incident.
