Amid the Iran-Israel War, Houthi Group Hits Israel
The Houthi Group joined the war in the Middle East and threatened to continue its attack against Israel in the next days.
Iran recently denied the remarks of United States President Donald Trump that a “Peace Plan” is allegedly underway. According to Iranian authorities, the American President is negotiating with himself and they are not having discussions with U.S.
An official of Iran previously claimed that they were having discussions with the United States when the Americans attacked them. The joint airstrikes of U.S. and Israel against Iran led to several deaths including the killing of their Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Trump justified the attack as allegedly a way to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear power and supposedly destroying the world. According to the U.S. President, the soaring oil prices will allegedly be temporary.
However, Iran also previously denied negotiations with the United States amid the claim of U.S. Pres. Donald Trump that the war will be ended soon. According to an official, negotiating with U.S. is no longer on their agenda and they will continue the missile attacks as long as it is necessary.
Iran vowed to avenge the death of its government officials and its people. Following the attack, Tehran closed the Strait of Hormuz for the vessels for U.S. and Israel. The said waterway is a vital passage for oil shipments across the globe.
U.S. Pres. Donald Trump warned Iran of a much harder attack if it will disrupt the global oil flow. However, it did not scare the Iran whose official even told the world to prepare for oil to hit $200 a barrel.
The Iranian authorities has officially closed the Strait of Hormuz towards enemies-linked ships. They previously warned that they will really make U.S. regret the “grave miscalculation” through huge oil prices.
Recently, based on News5, the Houthi group has also joined the war involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. The group is known as an ally of Iran from Yemen.
Based on the post, the Houthi group has attacked Israel amid the Middle East war. There were two attacks launched and the group claimed to continue it in the next days.
Reportedly, the now involvement of the Houthi group in the war in the Middle East as they side with Iran is posting threats on the shipping lanes in the Red Sea and the nearby countries. Moreover, Iran also warned to control the Bab El Mandeb Strait which is far from them but near Yemen.
Previously, Pope Leo XIV called for ceasefire amid the war in the Middle East.
