Ogie Diaz reacted to this claim of Sen. Imee Marcos
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz called Sen. Imee Marcos, “Marites,” and said his Showbiz Update show now has a rival.
Ogie reposted content on Facebook in which the senator made a bold statement, and another part of the video showed that Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro debunked the senator’s claim.
In a video released by the senator on social media, she said that the Ombudsman and other government agencies will file charges against lawmakers who do not vote “Yes” in the impeachment case of Vice President Sara Duterte.

Aside from the Ombudsman, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) are also reportedly planning to file charges against these congressmen.
“Sangkatutak na kaso ang uulan sa inyo kapag hindi kayo bumoto ng tuwid, nakakanerbiyos talaga, tama ba ‘to? Talagang may bribery na, may pananakot pa, ano ba itong nangyayari sa bansa natin?” Sen Imee Marcos said.
Then, Castro retaliated to this. She said that what the Senator expressed was just rumors.
“Kanino kaya galing itong script na ‘to? Saan kaya galing ang kuwentong ito. Bakit lumalabas na parang chismis lang. “Kasi gumagamit ng raw. Chismis ‘di ba? Panira,” Castro said.
Ogie Diaz shared his reaction to this. “Mukhang may kalaban na ang ‘Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update’ sa katauhan ni Sen. Imee ‘Marites’ Marcos,” the talent manager vlogger said.

Based on the article in Bandera, on May 11, the House of Representatives approved the impeachment complaint against VP Sara. This is the second time that the Vice President has been impeached in the House.
With a vote of 255, the final committee report of the House Justice Committee that conducted hearings on the impeachment complaints against Duterte was approved. 26 lawmakers voted “No” and nine abstained.
With this, it is expected that the Articles of Impeachment will be brought to the Senate, and an impeachment court will be formed for the trial.
