Cops Arrest Man for Stealing P260,000 Worth of Beauty Product

A 33-year-old man was arrested after he was caught stealing beauty products worth more than P260,000 from the company where he worked in Barangay St. Peter, Quezon City.

The company management discovered the incident after noticing that their inventory records no longer matched the number of products being released from the warehouse. Because of the missing items, they decided to review the CCTV footage inside the establishment.

The video showed the suspect entering the warehouse and slowly taking several boxes of beauty products one by one. He then placed the items on a push cart before calmly leaving the area with the stolen products.

According to authorities, the suspect worked as a dispatcher for the company. After the management confirmed the theft through the CCTV footage, they immediately reported the incident to the police.

Police officers from the La Loma Police Station quickly conducted an operation to catch the suspect. Authorities waited for him to return and allegedly attempt to take more products from the warehouse. Once he came back, the police arrested him on the spot.

Investigators also found out that the suspect had allegedly been stealing products for a long time using the same method. The company owner reportedly suspected that many items had already gone missing before they finally confirmed who was responsible.

Authorities said the stolen beauty products were being sold to another person. However, the buyer allegedly did not know that the items came from theft.

During the investigation, police also discovered that the suspect previously had a carnapping case back in 2014.

The man admitted his involvement in the crime but refused to explain why he committed the theft. Recovered from him were beauty products valued at more than P260,000.

He is now detained at the custodial facility of the La Loma Police Station and is facing a qualified theft complaint.
