Man Wanted After Stealing Tip Box From Pizza Parlor in Antipolo
A man was arrested after allegedly stealing a tip box from a pizza parlor in Barangay San Isidro, Antipolo City, Rizal.
A CCTV footage captures a man entering the cashier area and quietly approaching the counter where the tip box was placed. The incident has gained attention online after the store owner shared footage from the establishment’s security camera.
Based on the footage, the suspect carefully picked up the container and looked around before leaving the area. After a few moments, he quickly ran away from the box.
According to the pizza parlor owner, the crews were busy preparing and serving customer orders at the time of the incident. Because of the rush inside the store, no one immediately noticed that someone had slipped into the cashier area and taken the tip box.
The stolen container reportedly held more than P2,000 in cash. The money came from customers who wanted to show appreciation for the hard work and good service of the restaurant staff.
The owner said the tips had been collected over time and were intended for the employees.
“Hindi talaga napansin ‘yung pumasok at talagang sumalisi. Nagdahan-dahan siya para kunin ‘yung tip box na naglalaman sana ng tip para sa tauhan natin. Maliit na bagay pero appreciation ‘yun ng mga customer namin sa hard work ng mga crew. Plano ko sanang buksan ‘yan next month,” the owner said.
After the CCTV footage was uploaded online, several concerned residents reportedly recognized the suspect. Some claimed that the man had allegedly been involved in theft-related incidents in the area before.
Others identified him as a person often seen roaming around the community. To prevent similar incidents in the future, the business plans to strengthen its security measures by installing additional CCTV cameras and placing door sensors around the establishment.

The store owner is now coordinating with local authorities as efforts continue to locate and apprehend the suspect responsible for the theft.
