Cops Arrest Motorcycle Theft Suspect After Allegedly Stealing Motorcycle
A motorcycle theft suspect was arrested in Poblacion, Banga after stealing a motorcycle in Laguinbanwa West.
The suspect, identified as Rey Alinuhon, admitted his involvement in the theft and told authorities that he had been stealing motorcycles for several years. He reportedly started committing similar offenses when he was still living in Surigao.
According to Alinuhon, he had taken motorcycles several times in the past but managed to avoid getting caught. His admission came after he was arrested in connection with the motorcycle that was allegedly stolen in Laguinbanwa West.

During the investigation, Alinuhon also admitted that he made changes to the motorcycle after taking it. He reportedly removed its sticker and tampered with the ignition to make it easier to operate.
The suspect did not deny the accusation and appeared willing to face the consequences of his actions. He said he was prepared to accept responsibility if he was eventually caught, something that happened following the latest theft.

“Maraming beses na sir, kaso di pa ako nahuhuli”, “Yung nga yung sabi ko sir kung mahuli, dapat panindigan mo,” the suspect said.
Authorities are expected to continue checking whether Alinuhon may be connected to other motorcycle theft cases in the area. His admission that he had stolen motorcycles several times before could help investigators look into similar incidents that remain unsolved.
Motorcycle theft continues to be a concern in many communities, especially because motorcycles are often parked outside homes, stores, and other public places where they can be easier targets for thieves.
The incident reminds motorcycle owners to take extra precautions. Using additional locks, parking in secure areas, keeping keys safe, and avoiding leaving motorcycles unattended for long periods can help reduce the risk of theft.

The authorities will determine the appropriate charges against Alinuhon in connection with the reported motorcycle theft.
