Philippines cash remittances up nearly 2% in July

 Cash remittances to the Philippines rose 1.9% to $3.24 billion in July from a year ago, the central bank said on Tuesday.

From January to July, cash remittances sent through banks increased 2.3% to $20.4 billion.
