MANILA — The United States and the Philippines will establish a 4,000-acre (1,620 hectares) industrial hub in the Luzon Economic Corridor under the Pax Silica framework, the U.S. State Department said in a statement.
The State Department said it welcomed the Philippines joining the initiative. The site in the Philippines will be used to boost production of inputs vital to U.S. supply chains.
