Robin Padilla mentioned “Darna” in his recent post
Senator Robin Padilla was seen with the wife of Senator Bato dela Rosa and he wrote an intriguing caption in a post about this.
To recall, Padilla was accused of helping Dela Rosa escape amid the warrant of arrest released by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against him.
On May 14, 2026, hours after a chaotic shooting incident between Senate security and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents, Dela Rosa slipped out of the Senate building.
Reports stated that Dela Rosa left the Senate premises via Padilla’s car. Padilla claims he merely gave his colleague a casual “hitch ride” and denies knowing his current whereabouts.
Many continue to claim and believe that he knows the whereabouts of his friend, Sen. Bato dela Rosa, who remains a subject of a manhunt.
This includes current accusations that he surely possesses information on Bato’s location, following sightings of him with the senator’s wife, Nancy Dela Rosa, at an event in Davao City.
Padilla was in Davao with his wife, Mariel Rodriguez, to attend the opening of Pidoks’ Mañgan Tamu, where they were photographed with Nancy Dela Rosa.
Aside from Bato’s wife, Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte was also with them in the photo.
In his Facebook post, Sen. Robin Padilla had a playful caption in his photo with Sen. Bato dela Rosa’s wife.
“Gumawa na naman sila ng ikakagalit ni Darna sa akin. Wala sa akin ang bato! Carding Sungkit ang pangalan ko, hindi Ding! Nag-cutting ribbon lang kami ni Mariel rito sa Davao City para sa Mañgan Tamu ng Pidoks,” the actor-turned-politician wrote.
Although no name was explicitly mentioned, the public believes that the “Darna” referred to by Padilla is actress Angel Locsin, who is well-known for portraying the character.
Angel’s recent rebuke of Padilla, following his remarks about “communists” during the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte, has become a hot topic.
Meanwhile, Dela Rosa’s wife also posted photos from the restaurant’s opening, some of which show her with the couple Senator and his wife, Mariel.
