Senior Citizen Arrested for Slapping Woman’s Butt Inside Jeepney
A male senior citizen was arrested after he allegedly harassed a 27-year-old woman while they were riding a jeepney in Sampaloc, Manila.
A 62-year-old man allegedly slapped the woman’s left buttock while traveling aboard a public utility jeepney, leaving her shocked and uncomfortable. The unexpected act immediately caught the attention of the victim.
When she turned around to see who had touched her, she allegedly saw the suspect looking at her. Reports stated that the man even smiled and gave a thumbs-up gesture, making the woman feel even more disturbed by the incident.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), the victim quickly sought help. She approached the jeepney driver and asked to be brought to the nearest police station so she could report the matter.
The driver responded to her request, allowing her to seek assistance from authorities without delay.
Police later took the suspect into custody and brought him to the Barbosa Police Station for proper investigation. Authorities are now handling the case and gathering the necessary details related to the incident.
