Honest Teens in Puerto Princesa Return Wallet w/ P15k & Gold Bracelet
Several teens in Barangay Sta. Lourdes, Puerto Princesa earn praises and admiration for returning a wallet with P15, 000 cash and gold bracelet.
In a time when many people question the values of the younger generation, four teenagers in Puerto Princesa showed that honesty is still very much alive.
Kyle V. Montiver, Cjay P. Delgado, John Paul Alarigo, and Martin Jacalan found a wallet that had been accidentally dropped. When they checked inside, they saw that it contained more than P15,000 in cash along with a gold bracelet.

For anyone, especially young people, that amount of money and a valuable piece of jewelry could be tempting. Still, the four boys did not think twice about doing what was right.
Instead of keeping the wallet, they immediately brought it to their Barangay Hall. They wanted to make sure it would be safely returned to its rightful owner. They understood that the money and bracelet likely had great value to someone, not just in price but also in meaning.
Their effort paid off when the wallet was successfully returned to Ms. Xyra Kim Zhel B. Bombase. Because of the teenagers’ honesty, she was able to recover everything she had lost. The supposed stressful and painful experience turned into a moment of relief.

The young teens went viral on social media and garnered admiration from the online community.
Residents in Barangay Sta. Lourdes praised the four youths for their integrity. Many said their actions served as a positive example in the community. At a young age, they proved that character is shown in simple choices.
