4 LPG Tanks & Cash Stolen by 2 Thieves From Small Store in Quezon City
Two thieves reportedly broke into a small store in Quezon City and stole four LPG tanks along with cash earnings.
On Tuesday morning (September 15, 2026), a small business owner in Quezon City is seeking justice after two thieves broke into their store. The incident was captured by a security camera installed near the store.
In the video, one of the suspects entered the area and managed to gain access to the business premises. After a few moments, the man was seen carrying two LPG tanks and loading them onto a motorcycle driven by an accomplice. The pair then quickly left the area.
However, the theft did not end there. Reports showed that the motorcycle rider returned to the store shortly after 3:00 a.m. to continue the crime. The suspect allegedly took two more LPG tanks before leaving once again.
By the end of the incident, the suspects had reportedly stolen four LPG tanks worth more than P13,000. Aside from the tanks, they also took around P12,000 in cash, which came from the store’s earnings.
The store owner, Aldrin Presto, expressed frustration over the loss. According to him, the suspects were able to break through several padlocks to enter the property. CCTV footage allegedly showed one of the thieves carrying a metal tool, which was believed to have been used to destroy the locks.
For small business owners, losses of this size can be difficult to recover from. The stolen money represented days of hard work and sales, while the missing LPG tanks were part of the store’s inventory needed for daily operations.
The victim immediately reported the incident to barangay officials and the police. Authorities have started investigating the case and are working to identify and locate the suspects.
