Family Found Venomous Cobra Hiding Inside Toilet Bowl in Their Home
A venomous cobra was found hiding inside a toilet bowl of a home in Balungao, Pangasinan, causing fear to the family.
A family in Barangay Aurelio III, Balungao, Pangasinan, was shocked after a venomous cobra entered their home and mysteriously disappeared. After searching for the snake, they discovered that it had hidden inside the toilet bowl in their bathroom.
Worried about their safety, the homeowner sought help from Lexer Javier, a snake catcher from Nueva Ecija who is also known as Lex Tuklaw. His experience in handling snakes helped the family deal with the unexpected visitor without putting themselves at greater risk.
To determine where the cobra was hiding, Javier placed a camera inside the bathroom. The footage helped confirm that the dangerous reptile was inside the toilet bowl, where it had managed to stay out of sight.
Javier eventually succeeded in capturing the snake safely. The cobra measured more than one meter long, making the discovery even more alarming for the family, who could have encountered it while using the bathroom.
The area behind the bathroom was reportedly covered with thick grass, leading to the suspicion that the snake had entered the house through a window. However, the exact way it got inside was not confirmed.
Snakes can sometimes enter residential areas, especially when homes are close to grassy or overgrown spaces. Venomous snakes may seek shelter in quiet, hidden places, making it difficult for residents to notice them immediately.
When a snake enters a home, residents are advised to keep their distance, avoid trying to catch or kill it, and contact trained snake handlers or local authorities for assistance.
Javier, who has been catching snakes for a long time, was able to remove the cobra safely, preventing a potentially dangerous encounter from becoming a serious incident.
