Authorities Arrest Woman for Allegedly Stealing Powdered Juice in Cebu Mall
A 36-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly stole a large quantity of powdered juice from a shopping mall in Cebu.
On Saturday evening (October 10, 2026), woman was reportedly caught taking several powdered juice products from an establishment in Barangay Pondol, Balamban, without paying for them.
Authorities identified the suspect by the alias Evel, a 36-year-old single woman who is unemployed and a resident of Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City, Cebu.
During the incident, authorities recovered 15 dozen packs of powdered juice, along with 13 additional pieces, from the suspect. The recovered items were estimated to have a total value of P38,117.50.
The large quantity of products and their estimated value drew attention to the incident, as the woman now faces a theft complaint over the alleged taking of the items from the mall.
Following her arrest, Evel was brought into custody of the Balamban Municipal Police Station, where she remains while authorities prepare the necessary legal action against her.

Police are expected to file a theft case against the suspect before the appropriate court. The case will then proceed through the proper legal process to determine her liability for the alleged offense.
