Woman Steals Bottle of Liquor from Convenience Store in Puerto Princesa City
A woman was caught on a convenience store’s CCTV camera after allegedly taking a bottle of liquor without paying for it in Puerto Princesa City.
Recently, Elizabeth Carbonel, a Facebook user, shared a video showing a woman allegedly stealing a bottle of liquor from the convenience store. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions from the online community.
The incident reportedly happened around midnight on September 19, 2026, at a convenience store located along Baltan Street in Barangay San Miguel.
Based on the CCTV footage, two women entered the store together. While they appeared to be browsing items inside the establishment, one of them was allegedly seen taking a bottle of liquor and concealing it before heading toward the exit.
After a few moments, the woman left the store carrying the bottle. Her companion remained inside, seemingly unaware of what had happened. The video showed that the companion appeared surprised when store personnel noticed the situation and began asking questions about the missing item.
Store staff reportedly tried to stop the woman as she walked away from the area. However, she continued moving and left the scene before further action could be taken. The store guard then turned his attention to the woman who had been left behind inside the establishment.
Others also discussed the challenges faced by business owners and employees when dealing with theft inside stores, especially during late-night hours.
